How can we help you today?

Successfully resolving accounting issues and civil fraud allegations raised against the client during government audits and investigations.

Preventing or mitigating proposed suspension or debarment actions against the client before the agency debarment officials and the federal district courts.

Assisting the client to maximize its business goals under SBA small business programs, including the 8(a), HUBZone, small disadvantaged, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned business programs. For example, assisting the client to obtain certification under SBA programs, protecting the client’s entitlement to contract awards through size protests, and developing approaches for a large or small business client to partner strategically within the regulatory limitations of SBA’s small business programs.

Developing strategic approaches for protecting the client’s rights in patents, computer software and technical data developed, used or delivered under a government contract.

Protecting the client’s interests in the merger or acquisition of a government contracts business or its assets.  In particular, assisting the client to deal effectively with issues unique to acquisitions of a federal government contractor, such as special procedures for novation of federal government contracts, security clearance requirements and the impact of an acquisition on a small business's continued eligibility under Small Business Administration (SBA) programs.

Ensuring that the client’s accounting practices and indirect cost rates comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles and the Cost Accounting Standards.

Successfully resolving disputes with customers, subcontractors or other contracting parties through negotiation, mediation, binding arbitration and litigation in both state and federal courts.

Protecting contract awards to which the client is entitled through bid protests before agency boards, the Government Accountability Office, the Court of Federal Claims and the Small Business Administration.

Preparing and negotiating favorable subcontracts, joint venture agreements and teaming agreements that maximize the client’s negotiating leverage and protect the client’s long-term strategic interests.

Maximizing the client’s recovery of money owed by its government customers through claims submitted to the contracting officer and appeals submitted to the agency boards of contract appeals and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
